You can download Aadhar Card with any of the method: Using Enrollment ID (EID) or using Aadhar Number.

How to Download Aadhar Card?

Before proceeding with the steps make sure that you must have your Enrollment Slip or Enrollment ID, date, time and mobile number. In this case, It’s not mandatory to have registered mobile number to download, instead you can use any mobile number with you.

  • Either go to the resident portal of UIDAI. Next Click on Get e-Aadhar button on the right side of page.
  • Or you can directly go to the official e-Aadhar portal of UIDAI. This is the official link http://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
  • Select the option “I have Enrollment ID” on the top bar.
  • Then enter your Enrollment ID, Date and Time mentioned on the enrollment slip.
  • Enter your name registered with Aadhar Center.
  • Enter the pin code of your area.
  • You will see there an image with security code text. Type that text in the box given below.
  • Then enter your mobile number. You will get one time password(otp) on that mobile number for verification purposes.
  • Click on Get One time password button.
  • Shortly you will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Fill that OTP in “Enter OTP text box”.
  • At last click on Validate & Download button.
  • How to get your Aadhar Card download with EID

  • You will get one pdf file click on save and ok that file.
  • You can open this Aadhar card form on your local system  by entering the password as your area pin code.

    Note: At this time you must have to installed the pdf software or application in your system or mobile phone.

Note: These same are also valid to get duplicate Aadhar card, if in case it has been misplaced or torn.

  • Either go to the resident portal of UIDAI. Then Click on the Get E-Aadhaar button on the right side of the page.
  • Or you can directly go to the official e-Aadhar portal of UIDAI. This is the official link click on it http://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
  • Select the option I have “I have Aadhaar” on the top bar.
  • Then enter your Aadhar number.
  • Enter you name registered with Aadhar Center.
  • Enter the pin code of your area.
  • You will see there an image with security code text. Type that text in the box given below.
  • Click on Get One time password button.

    Note: You will get the one time password on your registered mobile number with Aadhar center.

  • Shortly you will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Fill that OTP in “Enter OTP text box.”
  • At last click on Validate & Download button.
  • How get your Aadhar Card Download With UID

  • You will get one pdf file click on save and ok that file.
  • Then you can open this Aadhar card form on your local system  by entering the password as your area pin code.

    Note: At this time you have to installed pdf software or application in your system or mobile phone.

  • Go to the official web page of UIDAI to find EID/UID.
  • Click on the radio button either in front of UID or EID.
  • Then enter your registered Name, Email id or Mobile Number. It will be same as you used while enrollment process.
  • How get your back your lost Aadhar Card Download copy

  • You will see there an image with security code text. Type that text in the box given below.
  • Click on Get OTP button.

    Note: You will get the one time password on your registered mobile number or on e-mail id with Aadhar center only.

  • Shortly you will receive an OTP on your mobile number or on e-mail id. Fill that OTP in “Enter OTP text box.”
  • At last click on Verify button.

  • This will send you the requested details either Enrollment ID or Aadhar ID as SMS and also an e-mail will be sent to you.

Points to Remember:

  • To get Aadhar Card download online I recommend you to always remember to have Enrollment number and not Aadhar number because you can give any of your mobile numbers to download it. If you will use Aadhar card number then you have to use your registered mobile number.
  • e-Aadhar card is password protected and your area PINCODE is the password to open it.
